Lady Eagles take third in Keene tournament

The Trinity Christian Lady Eagles finished third in the Keene High School volleyball tournament Aug. 20-22.

The Lady Eagles swept their pool, defeating Bishop Louis Reicher in two sets (25-7, 25-22), Keene in two sets (25-12, 25-22), and Venus in two sets (25-12, 25-10).

Following their stellar performance in pool play, the Lady Eagles moved on to the Gold Bracket as the No. 1 seed.

The Lady Eagles finished with a record of 5-1 in the tournament. Their only loss came at the hands of eventual tournament champion Grandview in three hard-fought sets (17-25, 25-22, 18-25).
