Elizabeth (Liz) Wahlstrom, age 80, passed away on May 2, 2026. Liz was born February 16, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Texas in 1969, where she settled in Aledo to raise her children and be near family. She spent her career as a neonatal ICU nurse. She is survived by her three children; Allen Wahlstrom, Patti Fischer and husband Bobby, and Mary Beth Hollman and husband David; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; her brother Bob Jones and wife Jane; along with nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law and long time friend Mary Jones.

In lieu of flowers, please provide donations (whether monetary or diapers and wipes) for Baby World. Donations can be brought to the service or sent, in her name, to: Baby World at St John the Apostle Catholic Church (4101 Frawley — North Richland Hills, Texas 76180).
