The Weatherford College volleyball team continues its parade of excellence this season by rising to No. 2 in the nation. This week’s NJCAA Division I poll put the Coyotes ahead of previously second-ranked Daytona State College. No. 1 Miami Dade is the only team to defeat WC this season.
Following a sweep of Collin College over the weekend, the Coyotes have won 45 consecutive conference matchups, dating back to October 2023.
This is the longest conference winning streak in the history of the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
WC (6-0 in conference, 17-1 overall) will defend the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center against Vernon College at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
