Anisiobi named second-team All-American

The NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee released its selections for the 2025-26 All-American teams, including one player from the Lady Coyotes.

Neso Anisiobi, a Houston native, is the first women’s basketball player at WC to be named an All-American since Masha Vasilevko in the 2017-18 season. She is the 20th All-American in program history.

During the regular season, the sophomore guard led Weatherford College in scoring with 17.3 points per game. She also averaged 10.7 rebounds, collected 51 assists, and recorded 57 steals.

She was named the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference team for the second consecutive year.

Anisiobi is the college’s eighth All-American in the last 12 months. The others include:

Beline Thibaut: 2025 Volleyball, NJCAA First Team

Weronika Urbanska: 2025 Volleyball, NJCAA Second Team

Anisiobi has not yet decided where she will play at the university level next year.
