400 Bailey Ranch Road in Aledo will soon be home to a 43,000-square-foot indoor multi-sport complex. Owner and Aledo resident Ross Elmore said the facility will be “centered around the community and families in the area.”
The project timeline is aimed at construction beginning in the summer of 2026 and opening in 2027.
Elmore’s goal is to provide a space where there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy when visiting the complex. “It's a social club vibe, but there's a component of training for sports,” Elmore said.
Inside the facility, visitors will find Aledo Racquet Club, 10 pickleball and two tennis courts; Twitch Athletics, which includes softball and baseball training facilities with 10 batting cages, pitching machines, and outdoor turf; a retail shop; locker rooms; lounge spaces; and Assembly House, a modern American restaurant with a casual upscale vibe. Elmore said the restaurant would include a 3,500 square foot covered patio, “where parents can have dinner and their kids can run around the gated turf area.”
Sports are a major focus in Aledo, both recreationally and competitively, and the area is growing. This complex not only provides more space and a place accessible year-round, but can serve to contribute to the success of student athletes.
“We’re going to have things that will help contribute to the development of the kids in this area,” said Elmore, like various competitive-level leagues and professional instructors for each sport. It also provides a space for those who just want to decompress, let children run around, play pickleball with friends, or simply have a meal and a cocktail at the restaurant.
Elmore wants to be involved in the community as well by collaborating with programs like The Miracle League, a nonprofit that gives children and adults with disabilities the chance to play sports, while bringing in local high schoolers to aid in the efforts.
“I think it's a concept that the community will enjoy,” said Elmore, who will own and operate the business.
“I'm in the community. I have kids. I have a family. This is all centered toward families.” So, whether visitors are looking for sports training, dinner, or an afternoon tennis match with friends, Elmore wants it to be a place where everyone has something to enjoy and is continuing to make steps to complete that goal.
